OHIO ; AUGUST 2011 it's the beginning of the 2011
school year for Lima, Westerville,
and Akron. Drama is just heating
up and the Glee clubs are getting
back into the swing of things.
The Essentials carries everything you need to know about the site, its staff and its rules. As for any site, it is very important that new members come here to read up on how to conduct themselves online.
Any announcements about the plot, board, or anything involved with the site will be filed here! If something is posted, you'll probably want to check it out.
Here any questions or doubts can be cleared up by the staff of VE. Suggestions on how to improve, or even ideas on site-wide events may be placed here as well. The staff also encourages members to ask other members for help!

All blogs, journals, diaries and personal scrapbooks sit here. Here your characters can record every second of their day or rant about the week's mishaps. Whatever the, all those posts go here.

Grab a Steak-N-Caesar Salad off the $5 menu at Breadstix or drop by Sheets-N-Things for the new George Foreman Grill. If you need new tires, oil change or some gas head over to Hummel Tires & Lube, the only worthwhile repair shop within twenty miles. There are also several local shops and places to cruise if merchandise at the North Hills Mall is not appealing.
Founded in the 1800s, the culture surrounding American football has been keeping this school connected to tradition. Funding by businesses in the city has helped keep the school more modernized than most others in the district (with it's only rival in that area being Carmel). It is known for having outstanding athletic programs as well as above-average academics. It is the home of the six-time National cheering champions the Cheerios, one time football champions McKinley Titans and 12th National finalists glee club: New Directions.
Lima, Ohio, while not the largest community in Allen County, is known for having residents from all walks of life. From the small neighborhoods surrounding the city, to the slightly compact apartment within Lima, everyone has a place to live.
A bustling city that grows with each passing year, Westerville has a steady flow of new inhabitants from the middle to upper classes of society. Within the city limits there are two small shopping malls, one with high-fashion merchandise, and several places for entertainment. A theater, a small water park, and an open air organic market are placed at the limits of the city. Known as one of America's Best Places to Live, Westerville may be small but it's steadily growing into a larger city. Come visit and walk around the friendly streets sometime.
Dalton Academy is located a mere two miles south from the center of the city of Westerville, and is the largest, private school in the area. Although the Academy began as a boarding school it currently accept day students as well. The Academy is best known for it's superb soccer team, it's debate team and it's show choir, Dalton Academy. It's buildings are a prime example of classic and neo-classic architecture, with additions added every few years thanks, in part, to donations by former alumni.
Westerville is comprised of several neighborhoods, the largest being the historic uptown area built when the city was founded in 1858. Within the city there are several small hotels, inns and condominiums as well as some four room apartments. The surrounding suburbs center around different local schools and avenues. Many of the young men who attend Dalton Academy, which has been established a mere two miles from the center of Westerville, live within the city as well.
Akron isn’t your average, boring town smack dab in the middle of nowhere. It brings in tourists from all over due to it’s brilliant skyline, tourist attractions, and arts. You can find anything ranging from the Akron Art Museum to the Akron Zoo.
Carmel High takes great pride in it’s Glee Club, Vocal Adrenaline. Sports, academic clubs, and anything that doesn’t fall into the “arts” category isn’t really the main focus around these halls. The academics here always seem to skyrocket above the norm. The school holds a lot of opportunity for those who are able to completely commit to it.
You'll be able to find a few hotels within the city without a problem, but the outskirts of Akron are filled to the brim with large to small homes and apartment complexes.
