A relatively new neighborhood, Blackhawk is primarily comprised of young couples and young families who have moved to Westerville in the last ten years. It is very close to the northern edge of the city and is surrounded by several clusters of Buckeye, the official tree of Ohio. Most of the houses are one-floor with dark panel ceilings and pale colored walls.
