Rosewood Park The park where the wife of Westerville's founder planted the seed of a large Buckeye tree. It seems that the park grew around the tree, which sits a top a small hill at the center. Several communities work to keep the park clean and safe. Many people come here to look at the gardens. If you head deeper into the park, you can find a path to Big Walnut Creek. It's said that, during the summer, fireflies fly around the area as soon as the sun sets. |

Cafe Requiem On the corner of two streets in southern Westerville, lies the sunlit porch of Cafe Requiem. This cafe was built where a condemned factory once stood, and now is a three floor wonder for all the caffeine addicts in Allen County. It's first floor holds several table, as well as leads the way to the front porch where black, oak tables are organized. Walking by on a slow, Sunday morning one can see many of the residents making small talk over biscotties and lattes. During the week it becomes the hub for nearby nine-to-five workers to release their tension. The second floor is used for storage while the third is the home of Cafe Requiem's owner. |

St. Ann's Hospital The largest hospital in Westerville; it was founded alongside the town. Most of it's residents go there for major surgeries or, in the case of women with pregnancies, to deliver. Several clinics in the city are associated with it and the hospital often has fundraisers for it's needs. It can be found two streets away from the Westerville Mall. The building was remodeled in 1970 and there are several additions being built, which include a new pediatric and psych ward. |

The Sentinel Theater Across the street from the West Westerville Mall, stands a tall building built of bright yellow bricks. Decorated with neon signs, poster upon posters line the walls that face the street. The sidewalk just in front of this building leads the way to an entrance where a ruby red rug covers the floor. Three pairs of double doors, painted the color of brass and decorated with icons of the world of cinema, precede the ticket booths of this grand theater. The Sentinel's shining motto is engraved atop the ticket booth at the center: 'Ever mindful of the illusions!'. This theater was created by Luis McPatrick, a young Westerville resident who decided to open up his own theater after 20 years of work in Hollywood. It is one of the prime attractions for Westerville youths. The Sentinel Theater even hosts it's own horror film festival: A Night in the Void |
