this is sebastian smythe, aka douchebag extraordinaire. actually, he's not that bad when you get to know him. but he's rich, promiscuous, manipulative, and quick-witted. basically... you kinda want him as a friend, otherwise, he has no qualms against stepping all over you. his parents are constantly away so that's probably messed him up a little, but he represses any and all of that. he's on the lacrosse team and a warbler! so... yeah.

he should have plenty of friends (some friendships might be a tad superficial), a ton of enemies... mainly kids from other schools most likely, and as for lovers... he's pretty stuck on blaine anderson. he just... really has the hots for him and totally wants in his pants. whether he legitimately wants more than that is totally up for interpretation, but it's a major crush at this point. but yeah, other flings or whatever are totally fine too!

Blaine & Sebastian

In a throwaway line in one of my posts, I mentioned Blaine meeting Sebastian very briefly at Orientation in the summer. So, I don't know if you'd want to keep to that, but I think it makes sense.

These love triangles are getting more complicated by the minute, oh my. At this stage, Blaine is 100% emotionally invested in and in love with Kurt. Who's dating Sam (who was played by the second-ever member of the site who unfortunately left. Anyway, I was member #3, and in its infancy, the relationship drama was set up as Kurt/Sam + Awkward!Third-Wheel!Blaine progressing to an eventual Kurt/Blaine endgame. But now there are even more people involved, which makes it more fun. xD)

Kurt's also his best friend, so he feels extremely guilty about it all, and really wants to get over him. And he can be pretty impulsive. Which is why...stuff...could definitely happen with Sebastian if he comes on strongly enough.

I think they might also come into a bit of conflict over how the Warblers should be run (Blaine's friends with the counsel), or maybe he'd appreciate the input. Or both.

Thoughts?

we can totally keep that because it makes sense. well, actually. seb just recently transferred to dalton, so he's the newbie of the bunch at the moment. so that might change that up a little? (and no worries about the sentences... i'm half asleep right now too -_-) but yeah. sebastian doesn't know kurt right now, obviously, so there's none of the tension that there is in canon right now. so i'm not really sure where that leaves sebastian and kurt, but meh, this plot is between blaine and seb right now so i'll stop digressing.

sebastian is totally hot for blaine. the whole bashful schoolboy charm thing is a total turn on for him and he's.. obviously really open about his sexuality and the fact that he can be promiscuous at times. so.. i think he'd openly flirt with blaine and since blaine and kurt aren't together, and i don't really know if blaine would ever mention anything about kurt to sebastian, he would just.. continue flirting despite everything. because he's sooo used to getting what he wants, he can't even fathom the idea of blaine not wanting him back. at least a little. and despite him being a slight asshole, i imagine he's just all kinds of charming around blaine. and hyper sexual, of course, which would probably lead to blaine being even more awkward and bashful... leading to sebastian finding him even more attractive and all that.

but things could obviously change! the setting's kinda different and all that so he could potentially do something unexpected. but yeah, he'd never like.. force blaine into anything. might coerce him and attempt to seduce him. and if something did happen between them, and then blaine ended up telling seb that he's in love with kurt, seb would probably act like it was nothing, and that he only really wanted to have sex with blaine. which, of course, wouldn't be the case at all, but he's got pride :|

Yeah, Blaine's the sort of person who has a hard time saying no, and he wouldn't be sure why he should say no to Sebastian, because hey, he's pretty attractive, and he's actually interested, which is flattering, so maybe this could work--or maybe he could just try the whole "fling" thing. But if they ended up making out or something, it would probably end in "Oh my God, I'm so sorry, this was a mistake, I'm so sorry."

hahaha so yeah, if blaine mentioned kurt a lot, i think sebastian would have kinda sorta noticed? like... recognized that blaine had feelings for this kurt kid. he's not very dense at all... but he'd pretend to not care at all and just continue flirting with blaine because, once again, he's confident in his abilities to make blaine fall for him.

alkglskdg if they made out and blaine said it was a mistake, sebastian would totally have to hide his hurt. i think he'll realize that he legitimately likes blaine somewhere down that road which'll kinda be really shocking for him because he typically is only interested in sex and hates the whole foundation of committed relationships and stuff. so i think he'd definitely look into this kurt fella and be kinda dumbstruck at the fact that he doesn't really look or act like anything sebastian would have expected. u_u OMG COUGH SYRUP WHY SO GOOD AND DISTRACTING?! anyway. he might do some really mean shit too, but that's all mostly because he's both in shock that he even has legit feelings for someone and because blaine's not interested. i don't know what he'd do...

oh yeah, and thread ideas! uhhhhh... dalton = dorms, right? something there... or he could try to get blaine to go to scandals with him. or after warblers practice... or after seb's lacrosse practice when he's all sweaty and sexy <<... uhhh. yeah.

Whoops, now I have this image of drunk!Blaine calling Kurt and apologizing to him for kissing Sebastian, which, as Kurt is someone else's boyfriend, would be all kinds of awkward, and presto--possible Kurt-Sebastian conflict.

Wow, complications for the win. Because if Sebastian does get a little mean, Blaine's pretty protective of Kurt (again, those awkward moments when he forgets Kurt's not actually his boyfriend), but that would be tempered by the little, guilty voice in his head saying "Well, you did lead him on." And he'd be confused, because he thought Sebastian just wanted to make out with him, and if he found out Sebastian had actual feelings, he'd feel terrible. xP

And Blaine fences, so...possible locker room talk. Pre-Warblers' practice?

anyway, yeah. he'd def. be a douche, but i'm a firm believer in seb's good side. it's there somewhere, hidden behind all the douchiness. because, yeah, aside from kurt having blaine's heart, i doubt seb would have anything against him. hell, they could have potentially been friends but whatever.

D'you want to start or should I? =D

Basic timeline:
-McKinley started about a week and a half before Dalton. Around this time, Blaine figured out he had feelings for Kurt, who coincidentally picked that moment to tell him about Sam.
-On the weekend before Dalton started up, there was a party at Rachel's house (the thread is in full swing) during which major awkwardness went down between Kurt and Blaine. (And basically everyone else on the site.)
-The first meeting/audition for the Warblers is on the third day of school (Wednesday). I've already got a thread going that's set in the afternoon on that day, so probably not the best setting for another one, but I dunno.
-On Thursday after school, Blaine and Fitz head over to the Lima Bean for more Awkward Moments with Kurt.

So, I think the best setting for a Blaine/Sebastian Locker Talk thread would be the first or second day of school (no Warbler practice) with possible Scandals shenanigans taking place later that week on Friday?

I mean in a "Sebastian, oh my God, you can't talk to people like that!" "Of course I can!" kind of way. xD Not in a "they'd absolutely hate each other and would become mortal enemies" way. You know, friends who think the other should be kinder/think the other is kind of a goody-two-shoes. Because Blaine gets along with everyone unless they push him too far and he lashes out, and even in that case, he's open to reconciliation. But I see them as friends unless things just get too weird and/or they argue after Drama happens.

And yeah, I'm going to bed. It would be awesome if you could start it tomorrow! =D I actually have a workday, so I'll be back on later in the day.
