SECTIONALS! (final thread :D)

Alrighty, everyone! We've been talking about Sectionals around the board for the past couple of weeks, and it seems like everyone has come to conclusions and decided what will work best! Here's all of the information:

PLOT:
The New Directions are going to be "eavesdropping" on Vocal Adrenaline especially, since Rachel has jumped ship to that club. They somehow managed to persuade Mr. Schue to head over to where VA was competing because it's close to where they were, and they used "supporting Rachel" as an excuse... when in all reality, they just want to spy. They're all going to be majorly taken aback by how good they are, even though they're always really good anyway. This is mostly what the thread is going to consist of. Oh, and the bus ride home. Basically just a bunch of worrying and a failed attempt at the usual Schuester inspirational speech.

Kurt and Rachel will also be meeting up in this thread and having a "moment" with each other in Rachel's car or something. I'm not 100% positive where this is taking place, but it's basically going to be just like the scene where Kurt and Rachel cry in the car after watching Harmony and her group sing. We haven't elaborated on the whole plot for that tidbit yet, but maybe someone could find them and be like "hey, what's up?" Or, depending on who it is, maybe even be a little mad with Kurt for "talking with the competition"... and that will really anger both Kurt and Rachel (because they're still friends and that's obvious) and add a little more drama, if we really want that.

As for the Warblers... well, I'm not sure yet. Britt and I came up with most of this over skype, so if you guys have any ideas for how they can tie into this, throw them at me! Maybe they could be there too? -if we had a Sam, we could totally have Blaine find Kurt/Rachel and then Sam get in his protective mode or something. Urgh. We really need a Sam. XD-


Anyways, if you guys want to add in stuff or tell us what part your character is going to play in all of this, reply! ^_^

Not really sure what part Hailey can play in this. As I read it, she may only be with the group to watch/eavesdrop on Vocal Adrenalin, plus the bus trip home.

Then seeing that you are still needing three more songs, on the bus trip there, maybe Hailey and another character could think up the rest of the songs, then converse with Will?

What's this?! New Directions being sneaky?! You know for a fact that Charlie is in! Mercedes would probably tag along, but I can see Charlie being much more involved than her :)

Haley ~ Okay! Yeah, maybe she could just stick around in the background and sneak. XD! And that sounds good! They actually only need two more songs, and we're doing everything RENT for the ND, but I couldn't remember which songs everyone agreed on, so I left them blank. XD!

Charlie ~ Yeah!! I was actually thinking that he would be good with the sneaking around. Haha! So he can play an important role in this! And I'm pretty sure Mercedes/Rachel were angry with each other, so maybe she wouldn't really want to do anything about it?

Okay looking at/listening to my Rent movie soundtrack, we could have the following:

I'll Cover You (duet)
Finale B - everyone could get a go at singing in this, individually and in a group :)

During this dicussion between Hailey/? ? ? other songs from the musical could be bought up and reasons given to how it may work. But if the above two songs are good to add in to the final list of songs, then the final posts for this thread could be them finally agreeing on these songs? Let me know what you think.

If you're wanting suggestions from RENT, HERE I AM BITCHES!

I'm totally down for I'll Cover You (duet). I can see Charlie fighting tooth and nail for that one, but then again I think a Kurt/Sam would be lovely for that, what with it being a song by two men and one of them being a soprano ;)

Also, Out Tonight is an AWESOME female solo if you're looking for one.

Charlie would happily give a demonstation of Out Tonight on the bus if you want one ;)

I need to read up on the couples on this site ;) - sounds like maybe they could have the duet, and maybe Hailey and Charlie could talk about it further on the bus?

Are you suggesting that Hailey might take that solo? I wonder if she is up for that :D

Mr. Schue probably wouldn't let Charlie audition for it, what with it being a girls song, so I think he'd be happy to demonstrate it and teach whichever girl wants to audition for it. If that's Hailey then cool beans, plotting opportunity! :D

Why not? Who knows, maybe Charlie might have the right voice :) Hailey would be happy to have a side thread during this time to get some rehearsal time with Charlie. He might be the friend she is needing through this. So that makes us having two threads when we get to start this.

• Talking on the bus on the way to sectionals to discuss another two songs.
  
• Getting some one one time to see if the song suits her or not.

Yeah, I was actually thinking about I'll Cover You too because it would be a nice duet.

Maybe we could start up a thread with everyone deciding on the songs in Glee club after school, Charlie could possibly give a performance of Out Tonight in that thread because he really wants to sing it at Sectionals, but maybe they would have a debacle over that because there's only one spot left and Kurt was really hoping to sing I'll Cover You, so he drags Sam into the argument with him? -random thoughts- And maybe Hailey could practice her songs before the meeting starts up, so she could begin the thread? And then you guys could have your rehearsal thread too, with the two of them. Or we can just shoot down that idea. XD!

And yeah, two threads sounds good! Maybe three if we do this. ^
