So, I'm going to one of the advanced screenings to see the Glee Live movie. (in Tulsa probably, so if any of you will magically be there... I'll be first in line. I'm totally going to be there about 4 hours early.) Obviously, you just have to dress up to go to these events... and dressing up as a Warbler will be the coolest outfit ever. I went to salvation army today in search of a suit... I found that... and then I looked over to the next rack. They had a pretty big selection of ties, and I was hoping to find a navy one so I could put some red tape stuff over it and make it look like a Warbler tie. BUT GUESS WHAT. I found an actual Warblers tie. Like, the ties they wear. The same colors. And I mean... IT TOTALLY COULD HAVE BEEN DARREN'S. I started screaming and jumping up & down in the middle of the store. It attracted some amused and worried looks, but whatever. I found a Warblers tie. I am a very happy girl.
Now I just have to sew the trimming on, figure out how to make a Dalton patch, and find a Warblers pin. I'M SO EXCITED!
Hmm... I wonder if I could make a stuffed Pavarotti and pin it to my shoulder? That would just top the whole thing off XD
Oh, and I found the ties online! They've got 36 in stock here: stores.doublevalue.com/-strse-1141/T6693/Detail.bok
And they have Gryffindor colored ties too stores.doublevalue.com/-strse-1149/T6702/Detail.bok

My Warbler jacket is complete and got a bazillion compliments at the movie last night! I was first in line! (waited 4 hours) and was the only one with a Warbler costume! The movie was amazing, as expected, but I was really hoping for behind the scenes. And Klaine. They only showed about 4 seconds of the Klaine skit!
Well, over-all it was a great movie. The sound was amazing, the quality was jaw-dropping, and I loved it.
ON TO THE PICTURE!
So, is anyone going to see it this weekend?

Daaaaaayum, girl. That is just completely amazing. Seriously, it's perfect! I honestly suspect you of sneaking into someone's trailer and running off with that!
I know I've already freaked out about it a few times, but Reed and I are going Tuesday with a friend of ours who can drive without crashing into things (*CoughReedCough*). And yes, I'm a complete expert on driving, myself despite not being able to drive at all. xD Even though our city has three movie theaters, the nearest one showing Glee is about forty miles away! How far did you have to travel?
And the lack of Klaine is very dismaying indeed. Maybe they included a skit on the DVD to force all of us to buy it? Ryan Murphy commented that the DVD version would be different from the one shown in theaters...

Oh my gosh, how did you know? Just don't tell them I stole it....
No, just kidding! Haha, it was tough to make. Mostly because I can only sew on a sewing machine (even after 3 semesters in home ec...) so my Mom did it for me. XD. And the pocket... well, I actually I cut out the picture of a Dalton patch from my Warblers CD and sewed it on there. I'm going to upgrade to an actual patch before halloween though....
Oh my. We had to drive about 2 hours to Tulsa, and that city is really confusing so my Mom got lost. In the middle of a storm. In the dark. >< Well, we were watching the Glee encore thing in the back of the car while singing along, so that might have caused my Mom to get confused too... I can get my permit here, but I've only tried to drive once and crashed into a dumpster. I'm a slow driver. And I freak out when I have to turn. "Dad, I CAN'T MAKE THIS TURN. I'M GOING TO DIE - SOME OLD LADY IS GOING TO COME UP OUT OF NOWHERE IN HER WALKER AND I'LL CRASH INTO HER AND SHE'LL HAVE TO LEAVE HER CATS ALONE TO DIEEE." that's just part of the conversation we had... -____-
They better put a Klaine skit.. wait, no, ALL of the Klaine skits on DVD. I mean, someone has to have a decent quality video of the Dublin skit. I shall hunt them down and force them to send it to Ryan Murphy.
Thanks, Brittany! She can make one pretty easily. I ran off to salvation army and bought the suit for like $4 and they magically had the tie for $1. The tie might be hard to find, but a suit wouldn't! And then the piping costs about $2 per package, and you need two packs of that. That's pretty much it(: Well, besides the Dalton patch. I'm not sure how much that is because I just cut out the picture from my Warblers CD... Lucy Caboosey! Haha, have fun! Well, I guess you already saw it because it's morning now... so I hope you had fun!!!

Oh, goodness, that sounds like quite an adventure! The lengths fans will go to for Glee... Well, at least it sounds like it was worth driving two hours and braving the elements for! Because any sane person would swim oceans to see Chris Colfer's legs in 3D, yes? I guess we're really quite spoiled in SoCal; chances are, we're within reasonable driving distance of every motion picture event.
And oh, my goodness I know! ...Now I'm going to worry about a little old lady with lots of cats Apparating into the middle of the road when I get behind the wheel for the first time. Oh, dear.
There are like three ties left on eBay, but it looks like they'll end up being pretty expensive. I can afford to buy myself one new t-shirt for college, and I've narrowed it down to "Can't Sing," "Can't Dance," and "Keep Calm and Warble On." Oh, or a second-hand tour shirt. Which, perplexingly would be the most expensive. Yes, this is the great dilemma of my young life. Edit: Actually, it turns out the local theatres just suck at advertising and have really obscure websites. Glee is playing continuously throughout the day at two of them. One is five minutes from my house. I love you, Southern California.
