Because someone needed to start one.
While I was browsing the internet looking for anything and everything Season 3-related yesterday, I found some pretty interesting interviews with Ryan Murphy. I just have to flip out about all his (debatably truthful) news, so bear with me if you've already heard it.
From what I remember:
- Harry Shum, Jr. is getting promoted to regular. (Finally!) - Sue is done trying to destroy New Directions and will indeed be running for congress. Mr. Schue "will be involved in the election, which will be really funny." Sue is also getting a new arch-enemy to destroy and possibly a new love interest. - Things will "heat up" between Will and Emma. - Mercedes and Sam have a reason for keeping their romance secret that will be revealed next season. Mercedes and Tina will get real storylines. (Maybe.) - The writers intend to focus more on their characters by cutting down on the number of songs, not doing major tribute episodes (ie. "Rumours"), and not bringing back any of the big guest stars. - The only single-artist tribute is one Ryan Murphy has been trying to land for years and will be a two-hour TV movie. - Ryan Murphy fails at continuity and logic again; he mentioned Sam and Blaine as non-seniors next year. First Blaine is a year older than Kurt, then everyone falls in love with Darren and they're the same age, and now Blaine is a year younger. Or not. All in a matter of months. - The writers are on the fence about the rumored New York spin-off with Rachel and Kurt. I think they're leaning towards "no," but they say they're open to it. Everybody cross your fingers.
Edit: Just updating this to fit the more recent news that Chord Overstreet has left the show. The writers were disappointed to lose the Samcedes goodness but promise that Merecedes will have "a new boyfriend she met over the summer."
Thoughts?

Glee Spoilers! One Of The Glee Project Winners Is Shacking Up With HeMo! Okay, alright. A predictable storyline with a bit of a twist. We’ll take it! WARNING: AHEAD ARE SPOILERS FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON OF GLEE YON’T WANNA KNOW, WE DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW. SO STOP READING ALREADY! Ladies and Gleeks, we have some solid spoilers to share with you about your favorite primetime musical romp! First, we are happy to report that one of the winners of The Glee Project will show up sooner rather than later, while the other will appear decidedly later. Damian will be the first of the winners to debut on the show. We hear he’ll be making his grand entrance around episode four, while co-winner Samuel won’t show up until episode nine. As for Damian, he’ll be playing the part of Rory, a foreign exchange student (figures!) who moves in with Brittany’s family. That’s right - HeMo’s getting a juicy storyline! A sexy Irish laddy all to herself! Wonder how Santana is going to feel about this??? With the arrival of Rory at the Pierce home comes the need to cast the rest of Brittany’s family. The call has gone out for blonde momma who created the wonder that is Brittany S. Pierce. Casting is still in progress and if we know the show at all, we anticipate it will be someone well-known. So much for no guest stars in the first half of the season! Alright, now that we’ve gotten that jab in there, who should get the esteemed honor of playing her mom? Any ideas? Anyone else thinkingLisa Kudrow? How about Charlize Theron? God, why did Kristin Chenoweth have to already be on this show? (source: perezhilton.com)

asdfgjkhqwfq I am flipping out. Darren's really grown as a singer from his AVPM days, but he still has all that energy and charm. ...Can I just say I love the style of these songs so far? It's just so much fun. And Lea and Chris rock this. So much. I may never stop giggling.

...Why do I have the feeling this will end badly. The end of "I Am Unicorn" was just heartbreaking; as a high school/college actor, I related to every single emotion going across both of their faces, and it was like a punch in the gut. **Random analysis that no one wants to read: "Would you read for [lead]?" is the most exhilarating question in the entire world. The fact that Blaine crashed down off that high within seconds into that little spasm of indecision and anxiety...Wow. He really must care about Kurt quite a lot. Just everything about Darren's expression right there...I think it has to be his most believable and honest bit of acting yet. And Kurt's "Okay. Fine. I get it" face...something broke in their relationship right there without a single word being said.
And oh, man, I feel for Kurt so much right now. In my university's program, we're being steered away from something called "presentational acting"--which is precisely what I do best. I love it and I think its artificiality and performancey-ness has a certain beauty--probably why I like Kurt's performance style. But it's just the wrong sort of acting to land leads in this environment, and it's occurred to me that that, coupled with my voice and the way I look, means I'm always going to be a character actress. No matter how hard I try, I'm not convincing in the parts I want. And it does hurt, which is why I want to reach out and give Kurt a hug.**Seriously, the show is so...grim now. There's a hard edge under absolutely everything, and while I think it's probably technically a better show now, I really kind of want my Season 1 back. Also, coming to terms with Blaine being younger by thinking about one of my best friends who's now a junior in high school. He's such an old soul (he's dating my other best friend, who's about a year and a half older) and it just seemed so odd that he wouldn't be graduating with us. The fact that Blaine is a bit of a social oddball kind of fits with the whole junior thing. If they were using it for character development instead of a ridiculous ploy to keep Darren in ND forever, I'd be interested to see where they take it. (Even though "where they take it" could and should totally be addressed with Tike. Don't need another split-grade couple.) But the problem is that Darren was not playing 15 last season. He was playing 18. It's absolutely ridiculous if you watch Season 2. Season 3, so far, it works. Apparently, the writers of Glee have no idea of the vast difference between being 15 and being 18. (And no disrespect to anyone of either age; I'm just saying that there are definite differences in the way people act. I'm not talking about maturity, because maturity really depends on the person, but...) ...So, I came bearing a huge rant and one photo. >.> Sorry bout that. [Also, I adore Blaine, I mean...-points at username, icon, signature, threads, etc-...but I don't think he's going to be a compelling lead character on his own. He really is that nice. Look at Rachel, Finn, Will, and Sue, Glee's original big four. And Kurt, Quinn, and Santana, the major fandom breakout characters. All of them are either manipulative, self-centered, bitchy, or involved in petty scheming at one time or another. If ND's main member is as mellow and normal (barring the bowties) and just generally nice as Blaine...not working for me. He plays well as a foil to Kurt, and I think he's got great potential for that this season. But they haven't shown me that he could drive a whole season's worth of storylines in and of himself. I do think he's a character the show needs, though. And one I love seeing development for. Well, obviously. -points to username again-.]

This time, I've got some legit spoilers for my spoiler spam thread! Notes on the screener of 3x03 "Asian F", being touted as "the best Glee episode of all time": (But it's going to have to work to take that title away from "Prom Queen" and "Home" as far as I'm concerned xD) Read more: www.eonline.com/news/watch_with_kristin/first_look_get_ready_best_episode_of/266484#ixzz1ZHmohCleSo, it looks like I guessed correctly in assuming that "Fix You" is sung to Emma. With all the hype about her parents, and the fact that she's rumored to be reluctant to introduce them to Will (plus the show's new dark tone), I have the uneasy feeling that there could be some kind of past abuse storyline going on. I'm probably going to cry, because I've always liked Emma--and during "I Am Unicorn," I especially appreciated the way she kept standing up for Kurt. (I know she probably wouldn't cast him either, but she was so gracious and fair-minded and sweet about him. Sometimes that's really all it takes. <3) I call Mercedes defecting to Shelby's choir. There was a rumor about it before, and that's the most earth-shattering Mercedes move I can think of. I know everyone's excited about Britt for class president (and it was adorable to see Sue cheering during a performance for once, so I hope that's really what's going on)...but on the flip side, it's just another thing Kurt's going to fall short on, and that's sad.
