Sectionals!

It's time for sectionals again!

Vocal Adrenaline's setlist has been made up by the wonderful Britt, so we don't have to worry about coming up with that.

New Directions and the Warblers need some songs to amaze the crowds with, though! This thread is basically for everyone to add in some ideas or themes they could stick with, as well as possible outfits for either group. Well, the New Directions. We all know what the Warblers will be sporting.

We could just go with some songs they've already covered, but where's the fun in that? Post any ideas below!

The theme Is Brittney and here are all of the choreography, for the songs that they will do. for each one the vocals will be of course changed so that it will have harmonies and what not. but the choreography stays. Most of the actual RP stuff for sectionals I guess will be writen by me, seeing as there won't be a lot of VA kids here, but if there are, don't mind to come in and take a spot behind Rachel, because there is no way that she is going to let anyone take her spot now.

first group number - all girls. No guy singing, but guy acting. Rachel, probably the one with the peachy pink undershirt.

(Drop Dead) Beautiful/Big Fat Bass

the choreography for this one ends quickly, buuuuut, DUH rachel will be the one up front. I just decided to switch the songs out, seeing that this looked like something that would be more of a wow factor than the other would, not to mention, it also shows more of their talent. The only thing i would not do is the crazy things on the floor because they are wearing Dresses. but it should be a great mash up, let the sex tones fall a bit. Enough to keep the little bit of an edge, but not enough of the crazy sex moves to get them disqualified. XD they know the bonderies.

ND covering RENT was brought up in the cbox, and I think that's a brilliant idea! So if everyone is alright with that, we can go with it! I also thought that this song might be pretty amazing to sing -- but maybe we can save it for Nationals?

I think the idea of covering RENT is p-errr-fect! But, when I saw Nicole Kidman's cover of Randy Crawford's 'One Day I'll Fly Away' it reminded me of the sectionals from my glee fanfic. It was a Sam/Gay Boyfriend duet of 'I'll Cover You' and a group number of 'Come What May' from Moulin Rouge. Perhaps these could be of help? :)

Just another idea I had. Mr. Brightside by The Killers is an awesome song, and New Directions have proven that they can do alternate songs like The Only Exception and Here's To Us quite well, and it's a crowwd pleaser. :)

just as a question, did we ever decide if rachel was going to come back before sectionals or after...? or did we decide that she wasn't going to come back at all. i know there was some plotting after rachel goes and takes them be a small but overcoming victory as lead singer, but i can't remember if she decided to come back because she missed her friends, or VA wasn't what she wanted or maybe because people were even trying to make her come back. XD does someone want to shed light on this or talk about it...?
