James frowned listening to his mother wish him luck on his first day of schoolyeah……whateverhe spoke feeling like crap, he never wanted to leave behind New York city to arrive to redneck central also known as Lima Heights. James had walked towards the school wearing jeans and a T-shirt, under the jeans were skin tight shorts he usually wore when working on some new dance moves. James had followed the map and watched on as down the hall he saw someone, someone that made his heart skip a beat.
James could see a cute guy that was tall and slender, his skin was very pale and his hair was wavey and chestnut colored. The guy was majorly hot, as one of his future classmates walked past him James stopped the student “hey sorry to bother you…but could you tell me who that kid is” He asked curiously the guy looked at kurt him…that’s lady homo Aka Kurt hummel, major geek, freak and homo also a member of the local loser glee club No directions” he spoke and continued on to class. James was in awe, So the milky colored prince was named Kurt. James smiled and continued into the classroom.
It was to his horror the teacher made james stand in front of the class and introduce himself “Uh hi…my name is James cooper, I am from New York and I love to rock and roll..Hmm interest I rather not say and particular desires for my future is not standing in front of a classroom of strangers having to talk about myself” he spoke annoyed and looking at his teacher, the teacher frowned and James went to his seat. The classes were lame and the students were even worse they were like ignorant hicks. Thankfully school had ended fast that day. James had spent an hour in the gym waiting for the students to clear out and finally they did.
His mother was busy today, so he would have to wait, but that was fine with James he didn’t want to see his mother he hated her for ruining his life. I can’t believe how selfish mom is to move us all here…this place sucks…if dad was here…he would never inflict this hell on us.James thought to himself…the teenager felt his heart pound as he thought of his father, his father hasn’t been dead long and it still hurt to think of him. He stood up and tossed his bag to the seats of the Gym, he needed to vent. Kicking off his shoes James and removing his socks James moved on to pulling his jeans down which showed his black skin tight shorts he usually wore in dance class. Removing his shirt he tossed it next to his jeans and bent over in the tight shorts to pull out his Ipod clipping it to his pants James breathed in and heard Queens-we are the champions putting the earphones in James began to play it, he felt his anger boil inside him and he used that hanger dancing his frustration and giving it his all it came to his last move and as he landed on his feet his lost his balance and fell onto his knees hard he breathed heavily feeling out of breathe from the dance and his anger. The teenager’s headphones came out as he slammed the palm of his hand into the ground hard he didn’t even get to know who I really was…Why did he have to die and leave me alone with her. He thought to himself angrily. James didn’t move from where he fell, he tried to change his thoughts from his father Come on james pull yourself together…just push him out of you’re head…think of something else…someone else he thought to himself as Kurt popped up in his mind, he started to wonder if he could get to know the cute guy he saw in the school hall today ooc James Dance routine

Kurt had arrived at school quite early that morning to finish typing up a history paper in the library. Although it was the beginning of the year, he was in an AP class, so essays were just a given in the first week. At least, he thought so. Sam had finally made his way into the library somewhere around 7:30, Kurt wasn’t keeping track of the time. They sat with their thighs pressed together for awhile, and eventually, when nobody was looking, Sam snaked his arm around Kurt’s torso and kissed him on the cheek. While standing at his locker, Kurt smiled and automatically raised his hand to the exact spot, sighing as he remembered the way Sam’s lips felt on his skin.
His thoughts were disrupted by a mention of his name somewhere to his left, so he turned. Of course, one of the football players seemed to be gossiping about him. Kurt’s gaze flitted over to the boy that the football player was speaking with and his eyes went wide. He resembled Sam a little – same build, same color hair. Maybe the same eye color, but Kurt wasn’t sure. He didn’t want to stare and possibly gape for a long amount of time because someone would notice and start some idiotic rumor.
He breathed out deeply and directed his attention back to the pictures littered all around his locker – a few of him and Sam, one of Sam’s school pictures.. and of course, the picture of Blaine with the “Courage” collage he had put together after meeting the Warbler. He sighed and shut his locker, hoping that AP World History would go by pretty quickly.
By the end of the day (which had gone by surprisingly fast), Kurt was heading out to his car. One of the hallways had been blocked off due to some “accident” in the hallway (which he assumed was vomit.) so Kurt had to cut through the gym. He tugged on his bag and hoped that basketball practice wasn’t going on today – a few balls had somehow managed to smack him the last time he walked through the gym, and reliving that wasn’t exactly something he wanted to do.
To his surprise, the gym was only occupied by one person. Kurt closed the large door as silently as he could and leaned against the wall, watching the boy dance. He swore he knew who it was… maybe if he saw the face.. ah! It was the new guy from this morning! Kurt’s eyebrows raised as the boy started doing twirls and flips around the gym, impressed with his dancing. Maybe he could sing.
After the boy stopped, Kurt stepped forward and clapped a bit. ”Wow, that was… quite a sight.” He nodded and stopped about five or six feet away from the boy. ”I haven’t seen you around.. are you new to McKinley?” He asked, but held himself back from inviting the boy to the New Directions. Hell, if he could dance like that, Kurt figured he might have a decent singing voice. And if he didn’t… well, maybe he could work with Mike on some dance routines?
Kurt shook his head and pushed the thoughts away for a moment, awaiting the boys reply.

James didn’t know what to do, he felt himself get more and more worked up, what had caught james attention was the sound of applause, sure there wasn’t many and it was soft, but it was better than nothing. James was like tinker bell he needed applause to love, the sound of applause was his oxygen, to be unrecognized and out of the spotlight it was like living in a third world country…like living in Lima….It sucked. The teenager felt his nerves ease a little, as If the applause had comforted him.
His sibling often called him overly ambitious and annoying and self centered, of course he had paid no attention to his stupid sibling after all he was a magnificent performer and magnificent performers always had critics even if one of them happened to be one load his mother should have swallowed. James was curious as to who was clapping, but he couldn’t bring himself to looking up, he could hear the footsteps walking closer towards him. who could it be…that’s watching me, I could have this answer so easily if I just stopped thinking about who it could be and look up Reluctantly James looked up and he was in shock to see it was, it was the one whom the football player called Lady homo, the Kid was paler than Edward Cullen and had glasz eyes, his hair was brown and shiny this kid was obviously high maintained, but James didn’t mind at all, he looked into kurts eyes still in his knees he raised his right eyebrow ever so slightly and had a small smile on his face for just moment there were quite a few things he could have done in this position in his knees, some of it kurt may have enjoyed and he listened to Kurt speak.
James felt high as a kite when he heard kurt speak that’s quite a sight…does that mean he likes it….who cares I love the sound of his voice…so elegant and refined…..i wonder what this feeling i…am having…never mind it doesn’t matter fate has given me a great opportunity here I can’t screw it up he thought to himself, picking himself up ne walked towards kurt shirtless and wearing nothing but skin tight black shorts, he smiled mischiviously and stopped inches from kurt, James muscles on his chest twitched for a moment from excitement as he looked at kurt, he looked deep into the eyes of the diva an spoke softly “well thank you for that ambiguous complement” His words were soft as silk and he allowed his voice to sound like a seductive whisper, of course how Kurt would take this would be up to him, after all would young lady fabulous Kurt really think some new kid was trying to seduce him, maybe he would think he was being paranoid who knew. James ran his fingers through his blond hair still shirtless and in close range to kurt, he seemed casual about the entire thing “you are correct though, I am new to Mckinley high…today was my first day My name is James…..James cooper” he spoke softly watching kurt curiously he wished with all his heart that he could read kurt’s mind or hear his thoughts to know what was going on in that beautiful head of his.
James smile grew ever so slightly as he watched kurt “Do you have a name” he asked feinting curiosity after all the jack had told him his name, but still at least this way kurt would be able to speak for himself and not by some homophobic jerk. James waited silently for Kurt’s answer eager to see how the young fabulous diva would react.

Kurt smiled back at the boy and took a slight, hesitant step back as he got closer. It was a reflex, really. Kurt wasn’t too comfortable with getting too close to people, and his initial reaction was either fighting back or jumping three feet behind to get out of the way. Of course, there was no immediate danger in tow, and the guy wasn’t going to pull anything. Well, maybe a sweaty hug or something along those lines. He was inching closer, and Kurt scrunched his nose up a little. Sweat was something he didn’t like to deal with or even see – he even made Sam shower before coming within three feet of him after football practice. Sweat was gross.
”No problem.” He smiled warmly and shifted from side to side as the guy ran his hands through his hair and mussed it up. Kurt had the sudden urge to whip out a comb and brush it back down for him, but that probably wasn’t something to do to a guy who you’ve only known for about five whole minutes. ”Well, welcome to McKinley, James Cooper.” He thought holding his hand out for a handshake might be a nice touch, so he did. He had forgotten about James’s sweaty hands for a moment and almost flinched away, but mentally slapped himself for being so rude. Snarky comments and rude gestures were always saved for the bullies, not new students who didn’t know who fit in which section of the social pyramid yet. Maybe Kurt could spare himself from some bullying by befriending James. Hey, he was always looking for ways to lessen it.
”Do you have a name?”
Kurt blinked a few times and smiled, almost not catching the question. ”I’m Kurt Hummel. Senior, singing freak, porcelain, you’ll hear a lot of nicknames. But Kurt is fine.” He grinned and busied himself with tightening the strap on his messenger bag, distracting his gaze from the boys bare chests. What? Bare chests were really distracting for Kurt. And this guy was toned. ”So,” He asked, his voice a little shaky. ”What brings you to Lima?” He bit back some sarcastic comment about how the town was intelligently nicknamed loserville, because he didn’t know James’s background. Who knew? Maybe his father was some bigshot who lived in Lima his whole life… or maybe James really liked the place. Kurt didn’t want to seem like an ass, so he bit down on his tongue and let his grip on his messenger bag loosen to brush some hair off of his forehead. Maybe this James guy was okay, and maybe Kurt could actually make a new friend for once.
