THE POWER OF MADONNA What is there to say, but this was one of the best episodes that I can even think of, i mean.....ITS MADONNA and everyone got a song in this episode. VOGUE!! Remember...? It also had Like A Virgin in it, and that has to have my favorite ship in it of like all time. ST BERRY!!

DAY 3; FAVORITE GROUP NUMBER SEASON 1 ~ JOURNEY MEDLEY Chills. Every time I think I'm forgetting what the show is all about I watch this. New Directions is at their absolute best. They're singing and dancing their hearts out, and there's so much joy and emotion, because they're all losers from a small town, and they never thought they'd get this far. This performance is flawless, and even though they've gotten better technically, I'd be blown away if they ever pulled off a performance more magical than this one.
SEASON 2 ~ SOMEWHERE ONLY WE KNOW Whoa, does this count as a group number? Okay, then, I'll leave it there. It's the first time we see Blaine really put his emotions into singing, and the Warblers are so sweet, and when New Directions joins in in the background, it's honestly so beautiful. Would I refer to that as a...show choir-mance...that I ship? "Just the Way You Are" is somewhere up there, as well, because Kurt Hummel Appreciation Numbers are the best.
SEASON 3 ~ BAD I don't think Glee has ever projected such a palpable sense of tension in a performance, plus the choreography is just fantastic. DAY 4; FAVORITE EPISODE PROM QUEEN! ...I think I actually...ran outside on commercial breaks and called all my friends. This episode is perfect. The writers prove they can actually handle subtleties in dialog ("Wait for me here, alright?") and characterization (they handle Blaine really, really well instead of bashing us over the head with what's going on in his head). And Kurt Hummel and Chris Colfer as Kurt Hummel..."Prom Queen" is the best showcase of his range in Season 2. Plus, "Jar of Hearts." And Quinndependence eventually winning the day. And Samcedes. And Artie getting a dance with Brittany. And "Dancing Queen," which was a perfect cover.
Home, Laryngitis, Original Song, and Asian F were all close seconds.

DAY 5 ; LEAST FAVORITE EPISODE A NIGHT OF NEGLECT I mean, I don't hate the episode. I actually like it, but I guess it's my least favorite because it was wedged between Original Songs and Born This Way, which were two episodes that had a lot going on. It's always between A Night of Neglect and Rumors for me when it comes to least favorite episodes... and I love the songs that they cover in both episodes, but like I said before, they're wedged between two really amazing episodes.. so yeah. This was so hard to choose though. D:

DAY 5; LEAST FAVORITE EPISODE EXTRAORDINARY MERRY CHRISTMAS! It's tough to knock this episode because...there are things in it that I like; Chris, Darren, Amber, and Lea are absolutely sublime in their long Messing Around In Front of a Camera Sequence. And I love all the songs. It's a lot of fun. ...But wow, it's kind of like the writers gave up. It has pretty much no plot relevance, and at least for me, didn't quite hit the emotional note of "A Very Glee Christmas," which mixed a nice touch of bitter in with the absurd and the sweet. "Rachel is cartoonishly selfish and has to learn her lesson" is unfair to her character, and I really don't get what the moral quandary in the episode was and where it got resolved. They went to the homeless shelter after they were done, upon which all was well and everyone was proud of them. ...Well, yeah. Were they...not going to do both?
Also, the glaring lack of a box scene. Not okay. The cast was at their best, but I just think the plots and characterization could have been handled better.

DAY 6 ; LEAST FAVORITE CHARACTER SHANE TINSLEY I just don't really trust this guy. I was okay with him at first, because he seemed like a nice boyfriend to Mercedes. And I know he's being protective of her because they're together... well, okay, the more I'm typing, the more I realize that I'm alright with this guy. But I can't ever choose my least favorite things about Glee, it's not possible. So I guess I choose Shane because he has absolutely no character development, and I know next to nothing about him, and I can't choose anyone else because even though I gripe and complain about how much I hate characters like Sebastian and Karofsky sometimes, I appreciate them in some odd, twisted way. Shane? Well, I've got nothing. I didn't really like Holly Holiday either... so I don't know. XD! I'll just leave it at Shane.

DAY 6; LEAST FAVORITE CHARACTER JACOB BEN ISRAEL ...He creeps me out? I don't think he's ever really shown any reedeming qualities, and he's not as glamorously bad as the big villains. He's a coward at the expense of others, and he knows he's stirring up trouble when he spreads rumors. Plus, his behavior toward Rachel in Season 1? Ew. I don't think he's a bad character, and I love to hate him, but he's definitely the Glee character I'd least like to meet.

DAY 7 ; FAVORITE DUET Baby, It's Cold Outside I don't have a reasonable explanation for this. 1) It's adorable. 2) It's Klaine. 3) It's a Christmas song, which makes it happy and adorable anyway. So, this is forever my favorite duet. For Good, Let it Snow, Lady is a Tramp, and Smooth Criminal are all some of my favorites, but choosing Baby, It's Cold Outside is just a no-brainer. <3
