questions for the next 30 days, and they're
about Glee. This is kind of a way to get
to know each other, so I shoved this
into the introductions thread. XD!

CAROLE HUDSON![/font]
This lady. I love the character to death.
She's such a great mother to both Finn
and Kurt, and her being with Burt
makes me really happy. I mean, we
hardly ever get to see her in the show...
but you can tell that she's just really,
really sweet and loves being a mother.
Plus, I think most fanfics portray her
spot-on, and that's got something to
do with my choice. (:[/font][/center]

I've always adored Emma--especially since the epic lecture she gave the other coaches about cheating at Sectionals 2009. She's genuinely concerned for the kids' wellbeing and always tries to do what's right. She's also been incredibly brave in facing her OCD and has made so much progress. My heart broke for her in 3x03; I love complex characters, and I think she's one of the most developed on the show. And now we have her morbid streak, devilish humor, and unique understanding of people to add to that multifacted personality...[/font] [/center]

KURT HUMMEL![/font]
Big surprise, right? I mean, I sat here
for a good ten minutes trying to choose
between Kurt and Blaine.. and even Finn and Puck.
but let's face it..Kurt's had more character
development. Well, in my opinion. Puckerman
has really manned up in the past season, and Finn
has too. Blaine doesn't really have too much of a
backstory yet, so I don't think I can choose him
as my absolute favorite just yet. -I need to stop
rambling and get to the point.-

Anyways. Kurt Hummel is my favorite. When I
saw the pilot (still angry at myself for watching
the pilot and then giving up on Glee until last year)
I thought Chris was adorable, and of course that would
cause an interest in the character to spark up within me.
I've cried and screamed at the TV over Kurt more than
any other character. He's been through hell and back with
Karofsky, and he's gotten Blaine.. and nope I'm not going
to get emotional over this. Gah. I'm going crazy. My OTP
is just beautiful and I can't stand it. >< But in all seriousness,
He's grown the most. He's gone from the insecure guy who
got his windows busted out and was terrified to tell anyone
that he was gay, to not giving a damn about others opinions.
He's inspirational. I mean, I'm obviously not leading the same
life as Kurt. I'm different in so many ways, but Kurt and Chris
Colfer, and other cast members/characters, have shown me that
it's perfectly fine to be who you are. And they give me hope
that I'll get out of this town someday, you know? Because
being stuck in a small town really, really sucks.. and you think
"Oh, I'm never going to get out of here. I'm stuck." because
of financial reasons, or because I'm not good enough for
anywhere else, but Kurt... well, he goes against the odds.
He defies gravity. And if that's not inspirational, you're not
thinking hard enough about this.

*cough* I could ramble on about this for another
twenty minutes, but I'll stop now. [/font][/center]

DAY 2; FAVORITE MALE CHARACTER

KURT HUMMEL![/font]
Kurt could just be one of my favorite overall characters I've seen in my eighteen years of life. His personality has managed to stay pretty cohesive over the course of the show--much of which I could attribute to Chris being a very smart, very gifted actor. I love developed, complex characters, and Kurt is the best the show has to offer. When we meet him, he's deliciously manipulative and more than a little closed-off, but he has those wonderful moments of frailty (ie. coming out to Mercedes in 1x03) and frustration (ie. "Rose's Turn"), as well as moments when those strong emotions are lurking just under the surface threatening to break free. I love the side of him we see at home, and I love how caring and protective he is toward his family and friends. It also doesn't hurt that he has the best snappy comebacks and reaction faces ever.

He's not a saint; he makes mistakes and sometimes willfully does things he knows he shouldn't, but that makes watching him survive a rather hellish high school experience even more compelling. Honestly, I could go episode-by-episode and list things I like about Kurt--as a complex character and as a person. Overall, he's a survivor, and he's even reached a point where he's motivated to reach out and help others survive, and those are qualities that earn my ultimate respect--plus, he's an absolute freak in the best possible way. The single most interesting kid in all Ohio, for sure.[/font][/center]

SEASON 1 ~ Loser
Ohmygosh. I cannot express my love
for this song enough. It's hilarious, and
I just love it. It's that simple.

SEASON 2 ~ SOWK
There are too many songs to choose
from in S2, so I had to break my favorites
down by asking "Which makes me most
emotional?" Of course it's this one.
Born This Way was such an amazing
episode, due to.. well, everything, but
mostly the songs. And SOWK was just
really, really cute and tear-jerking.

SEASON 3 ~ I Can't Go For That / Dreams
Oh my gosh. I adore this song, and I watch
the video at least once a day. It's just fun
and I'm one of those mustache fanatics... so that
might be the reason. I really just like the fun
glee songs, too. <3[/font][/center]

DAY 4 ; FAVORITE EPSODE

LARYNGITIS[/font]
Oh, man. This has been my favorite episode
since I watched it. Rachel getting laryngitis just cracks
me up because she's so worried about her voice, and
I understand why she freaks out, but her reactions just..
I don't even know how to explain. Overall, this episode
makes me tear up. Finn's football buddy has such an
inspirational message, and Mercedes & Puck's duet is
probably one of my favorite duets. I really did like them
together, even if he was kind of using her to climb back up
the social pyramid. The main reason why I love this episode,
of course, is Roses Turn. I cringe every time Kurt sings John
Mellencamp(?) in this episode, but once Burt shows up and
takes Finn to that game... You can see how let down Kurt feels,
and then he sings Roses Turn... And then Burt. You can tell
just how proud he is of Kurt, and how accepting.
Also, Brittany's line about kissing armpits while she's making
out with Kurt is just hilarious, as are all of her lines. XD
I could go on and on about this episode, but you get the picture. Laryngitis is pretty amazing. <3 [/font][/center]
