Hailey Rose Blaze was born on the 13th December 1993 to Rick and Mary Anne Blaze. She was an only child till the age of six, when her brother, Ashton came along. She tried to take care of him, while in school, as both parents worked. Her mum was a part time secretary, and her father was a pathologist at the local hospital. From the age of three, Hailey enjoyed music, and listned to all types on a daily basis. Due to not having many friends during her earlier times at school, she would sing on her own, and make up dance moves to her favourite songs at the time.
During school, Hailey befriended a boy named Austin, and they became best friends. After three years, Hailey decided to tell Austin about her feelings towards him, though after a couple of days, he told her that he didn't honestly feel the same way. Hailey hated herself for pouring out her feelings towards her best friend, and for the rest of the semester at school, kept to herself, and would only speak to others when she was spoken to. The only time anyone heard her speak or sing was during the school plays, which Hailey always participated in. This was her escape from the world.
Hailey was kind of glad when her mother had to move their family to Lima from Las Vegas, due to her mother going downhill health wise. Five days after they arrived, Hailey's grandmother died, and between unpacking and dealing with the grieve, Hailey kept to herself a lot, sometimes writing down what she was feeling in her notebook, which she takes everywhere with her.
She has just enrolled at William McKinley High School, and isn't sure what to expect, but hopes to be able to start a fresh and make some friends, regardless of gender. Hailey would love to join a club, and hopes to find one where she can show her musical talent, slowly.
Character Personality:
Hailey loves playing her guitar, and will try and write songs if she has the time. While playing, she will write down lyrics, and sing them out loud. Due to her love of music, she has participated in some school plays, but has never offered to write songs. Hailey loves food, especially meat, but never goes overboard with eating it, only eating meat mostly at dinner. She likes boys, but since that time when she poured her heart out to her best friend, has kind of only spoken to them if need be.
Hailey sometimes hates her hair, how it sometimes doesn't want to play nice, and she has to constantly use products to tame it. Annoying people, especially boys get to her, and she just wants to know at least one again who is a bit more mature than some boys she has seen around her old school. Hailey doesn't tollerate swearing of any kind, and she will cringe if she hears it. Though for her, in her head she might let some out, but it has only happened once. For some reason Hailey just doesn't like apples of any kind, and can't remember an experience that might have put her off by them either. Hailey prefers the warm weather, and when winter comes she will always make sure she only goes out if necessary.
Hailey has a few stengths, and one of those is her looks. She doesn't go on about it, but she knows that she has some nice features. Despite how it can get, her hair is gorgeous, and look pretty up. Hailey has come insecurities, and one of them is boys. Every since that time when she told her best friend of three years that she had feelings for him, then days later they were shot down, she just doesn't open up to them as much as she used to. Because of this, Hailey can be terribly shy, though once she starts to speak to you, and feels comfortable, she will be a friend for life. Hailey is a great friend to have, though she is quite shy. She is pretty good at school, and is always willing to help in anyway she can. Hailey is quite naive, helping all, including strangers, which might be a bit unnerving for others who know her well. Because of her shyness, it will take her a while to open up to show her true talent, which is singing.
Character Appearance:
Hailey's hair is naturally curly, and is a lovely shade of blonde. Though sometimes her hair doesn't always agree with what she wants to do with it, so sometimes she will put it up, but most of the time it is always out in all of its glory. Her eyes are blue, and will be always smiling at you when she smiles. Hailey's face just lights up when she is talking about her favourite things. Hailey will wear casual clothes, whatever she is comfortable in. If she has to go out somewhere nice, she will dress up like any other girl, and will make her own statement.[/font][/size][/ul]

After Hailey sent that text to Nick, he sent one back, saying he would be there soon as he got out of class. She smiled, then put her phone back in her bag. It wasn't that long to wait, but sometimes when it came to Nick, Hailey couldn't wait to see him. Sure they saw each other during lunch, and the occassional walk by when they were in between classes, but just spending time together was important to Hailey, and she knew that they didn't always get that.
Hailey had been lost in thought about having Nick there to watch the movie with her, when he came over to her, and sat down, asking how her day was. She smiled brightly at him, giving him a quick kiss. Hailey was about to answer, when Nick commented on his own day, but really he didn't say much about it, only talking about how weird it was to come to school at his age. When he laughed, she let out a bit of a giggle, shaking her head. "And you keep telling me that, but still loving here you say it in your accent." It was true, that accent was one of the things she loved about Nick. "My day was good, but the day ended really well when we got out early from music, even though I love that class." Hailey grabbed a hold of Nick's hand, then had to add, "And there are no rehersals for the musical this afternoon, so that is a bonus, because I have missed seeing you in the afternoons."
Nick then said that he had little homework, and asked if she had anything planned for later. Hailey then felt Nick tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear, which made her give him a warm smile. "Well, I have to watch Romeo and Juliet for English, so I can start this assignment. So do you want to come over and watch it with me?" Hailey looked at him, with a bigger smile on her face, and waited on baited breath for his answer, hoping that he would say yes. She could really put it off, but she knew that if she did, she would never get it watched.
